My apprentices

Published at http://artdekor.blogspot.com/12.11.2008

At Cafe "Antresol" (Kiev) on Saturdays I carry out master classes devoted to different techniques for decorating a variety of surfaces (glass, wood, ceramics, metal, so on). For a year now leading a group of apprentities, who are masters of all trades already: familiar with the techniques of stained painting, decoupage, 3-d decoupage, patina imitation, aging wooden surfaces, painting on fabric ... All is not listed.
I am very proud of my apprentities and I want to show some of their work.
I was struck by Vika's work: very neat with well-chosen hues. The volume pasta was skillfully applied to the canvas by the palette knife. And this despite the fact that Vika was holding the tool for the first time...

Andrew creates a "delicious plate". During the master class all of us suddenly wanted some coffee and cookies, because they looked so real on the board, decorated in the 3-D decoupage technique.

Katya shows her "stained glass bouquet".

And this is sad, but bright fish made by Alla Serhienko:)

Here are Marina and Irina with stained-glass paintings made at the master class.
